Today is my beautiful baby boy's birthday! Happy Birthday Jackson! He is my heartbeat and my love. Today he is 6 years old and I can't get over how fast time is flying by.

Ben and I spend a lot of time with our boys. We talk to them about everything. We talk to them about their futures, about girls, about love, and about life. It's often we hear people tell us how different our kids are. Don't get me wrong, they certainly have their boy moments. At any given time you will hear them talking about bowel movements and you will probably find them wrestling during commercial breaks, but something I love about my boys is how much they love one another and their family.

I remember taking Jackson into his first Dr. appt. after bringing him home from his long one month stay in NICU.

The doctor, not knowing us or having never seen Jackson before, looked at him and said, " Wow, mama he is a fighter and is going to be strong spirited." I still think about that and can't believe how that Dr. saw something in my baby that has revealed to be so true as he has grown.
God told me as I was on my knees praying over my boys, that He had special plans for them, that He was going to rise them up to do great things and I believe it. I sense it and see it all over them. I am open to what that could look like and refuse to push them into any box! So excited to celebrate my little loves birthday today!

So sweet, Betsy. I love your boys so much! Jackson is definitely a bright spot in my life. He is extremely blessed to have you and Ben as his parents. :)
